What are the benefits of sleeping on a silk pillowcase?

Sleeping on silk is a small luxury with a big impact. It helps prevent sleep creases and fine lines, supports your skin’s natural moisture balance, and keeps your hair from tangling, frizzing, or breaking. Plus, silk is antibacterial, which helps reduce acne and skin irritation. You’ll wake up looking and feeling refreshed – with radiant skin and smoother hair.

Is silk really better for your skin and hair than cotton or satin?

Yes, absolutely. Cotton absorbs moisture and can dry out your skin. Satin is often synthetic and lacks the natural benefits of real silk. Our 100% pure mulberry silk is breathable, naturally antibacterial, and far more skin- and hair-friendly. Fewer bacteria, less friction, and a much cleaner night’s sleep.

Can a silk pillowcase help with acne or sensitive skin?

Definitely. Silk is hypoallergenic, antibacterial, and ultra-soft. It reduces friction, prevents irritation, and gives your skin the calm it needs to recover. Because it helps limit bacteria, it can also support clearer skin over time.

Does it help with frizzy or static hair?

Yes. The smooth fibers of silk allow your hair to glide effortlessly over the surface while you sleep. That means: less frizz, fewer tangles, and reduced breakage. Perfect for curls, dry hair, or a sensitive scalp.

How do I care for my silk pillowcase?

Hand wash in cold water with a mild detergent. If you prefer to use the washing machine, we strongly recommend using a laundry bag – ours is specially made for silk care. Lay flat to air dry to maintain its softness and shine.

What pillow size do I need?

The standard size in Europe is 60x70 cm. Think you need a smaller size? Go for 50x60 cm. And if your pillowcase ends up being a bit snug – no worries. Silk is naturally a little stretchy and gently adapts to the shape of your pillow. Don’t see your size listed? Just get in touch – we also carry other sizes for international markets.
